Sandy Kurka, LPCC
About me
I am an independently licensed counselor in the state of Ohio, and have a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and I am "All But Dissertation" for my doctorate degree. I have practiced counseling for over 17 years and worked with people from all walks of life. My experience includes working with clients dealing with depression, anxiety, grief, relationship issues, changes in life, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, divorce and work difficulties.
It is rewarding for me as a therapist to help clients explore ways to make changes in their life that creates hope and allows them to move forward. Everyone needs someone to talk to who really listens with respect and without judgment. I try to create a warm, safe, and accepting place to explore issues that are preventing them from getting what they want in life.
Counseling is a collaborative process between the client and the therapist. If you are ready to bring positive change to your life and want to take the first step I am ready to help you do it.
