About me

I am here to provide you with support and tools to help you connect with your healing process. In our sessions I will take time to deeply listen and reflect back questions and insights that can open new doors of understanding. My experience as a social worker and counselor includes crisis intervention, trauma support and recovery. I provide a solution-focused approach that can break down a big goal into many smaller steps that feel achievable and real. I look forward to learning what tools have worked for you, and welcoming them into the counseling space, if you'd like to work with them. My goal is to bring a focus to our conversations to help you get grounded in discovering solutions. I have worked in many different multi-cultural spaces, and am myself bicultural. I bring this awareness with me wherever I go, and am committed to creating a safe space for our work together.

Sara is a great therapist, she asks questions in such a way that encourages discussion and reflection. Sara compliments when you are on the right track, but not in a pandering or not genuine way. Sara helps motivate you to accomplish goals for yourself which makes you feel better when you accomplish your goals.
