About me

My name is Sara Warren and I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker in Ohio. I earned my BSSW at The Ohio State University School and my MSW at Arizona State University. I have worked with many different individuals from diverse backgrounds; including families in the child welfare and foster care system, families and individuals dealing with HIV/AIDS, mothers experiencing the loss of a child, individuals coping with chronic illness or hospitalized family members, new mothers and parenting stressors. My experience is brief therapy and solution focused. I have worked with individuals facing issues with anxiety, grief and loss, family and boundary issues, and major life changes.

I believe in a strengths-based approach to practice; focusing on what strengths and positives in your life that we can use to create the change you desire. My first goal is to ensure you feel safe in our therapeutic relationship so you can feel confident about expressing yourself and sharing those hard things that brought you to therapy. I am focused on addressing the person as a whole; including aspects from your physical, emotional, personal, social and spiritual health. My hope for you is to feel empowered, so you can live the type of life you choose for yourself. Everyone deserves to feel respected, safe, happy and heard.
