About Me

Hello! I am so glad you are reaching out for support. It is a very difficult first step to make. I look forward to helping you begin making positive changes in your life.
Here is a little about me:

I have a Master's in Social Work from Texas State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, with 7 years of clinical experience. I use an integrative therapeutic approach to include various treatment modalities that meet you where you are and help you identify your own goals while gaining the necessary insight and coping tools you need to thrive. I believe each person is unique and needs therapy tailored to what works specifically for them. I believe in helping you identify harmful patterns in your life and finding solutions that work for you to change those patterns while getting the support you deserve. I specialize in substance-abuse/chemical dependency and have worked with a variety of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, codependency, relationship issues, family conflict, bipolar disorder, grief, and addictive behavior. I am open to alternative forms of therapy and healing and believe everyone deserves to be on a healing journey. Every person is worthy of feeling good about themselves and gaining the confidence to thrive and reach their goals.

You may find it helpful to know that I have a lot of experience being the client in a counseling relationship and I am very picky about what I look for in my therapist/counselor. I am a person who needs to know I can say absolutely anything to my counselor and they won’t think any less of me. I need to feel understood, validated, and free to be myself. If this is the kind of relationship you would like to have with your counselor, too, then I understand you and you’ve come to the right place.

I am with you on your healing journey.

Sarah Beth is fabulous! She listens non-judgmentally, understands what my concerns are, and helps me figure out realistic ways to take steps in the direction of my goals. Would highly recommend.
