Welcome to my profile! I’m Sarah. I’ve been a therapist for 5 years. I have experience working with a wide variety of common issues that show up in therapy such as depression and anxiety, as well as the conditions and circumstances which often accompany those symptoms, including relationship problems, money stress, poor self-care and health, family conflicts, ADHD, Autism, addictions, and trauma. It’s my experience that these issues are often interrelated, and I work from the perspective that childhood and family experiences frequently impact our perspectives on ourselves, others, and the world in adulthood.
A little about me as a person: I’ve lived all over the United States including Savannah, Puerto Rico, New York, Los Angeles, Cleveland, and New Orleans; I’ve had a lot of different jobs including bartender, server, office worker, case manager, writer, and US Merchant Marine deckhand; and I’ve known many different kinds of people in these places and occupations. My experiences have blessed me with a great deal of respect for the vastly diverse ways people see the world and live their lives.
My goal in this work is to support you to live your most authentic and fulfilling life, whatever that means to you. I am politically neutral, spiritually and religiously open, and I recognize and respect the many ways people identify themselves and love others. I look forward to meeting you.
