Welcome! I'm glad you're here.
I provide therapy in a welcoming, calming environment that allows my clients to feel safe and understood. I help my clients overcome their constant feelings of worry, fear, and uneasiness. If you're looking for some extra support, you've come to the right place. Throughout sessions with me, clients overcome their anxieties, feel empowered, and see overall improvement in their lives.
I began my work in Denver as a Family Service Provider, which included providing in-home therapy to families dealing with challenges such as depression, substance abuse, and self-harm, among others. I then transitioned into School Social Work, working in the public school system at the elementary and middle level with children in need of social/emotional support and crisis intervention. From there, I pursued my long-term goal of opening a private practice.
I love the work that I do and I am so grateful for my wonderful clients who invite me into their therapy process. My love for therapy began when I was on the other side of the therapist's office as a client. Having been through it myself, I have a unique advantage as a therapist to understand where my clients are coming from when they share their story.
I hold a Bachelors Degree in Social Work from Colorado State University and a Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Denver. I hold a certificate in Interpersonal Trauma Studies from DU and I am trained in trauma informed care. Additionally, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the states of Colorado and Illinois.
When I am not working, you can find me spending time with my husband, friends, and family.
