About Me

Welcome! I am Sarah and I am a Registered Board-Certified Art Therapist nationally, as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oklahoma, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Hawaii, and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Kansas. I have 14 years of experience in the mental health field, working with people of all ages in a variety of settings. I’m experienced in helping clients coping with anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, grief and loss, family conflicts, and more. I specialize in working with people who have experienced trauma.

My style of counseling is based on meeting you where your are at, working together to make changes toward the goals you want to meet, at the pace right for you. I am trained in Art Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Interpersonal Social Rhythm Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy.

Everyone deals with challenges large and small in life, I believe therapy is a way to work through these challenges, learn, and grow. Taking the first steps in seeking help with the stressors in your life takes strength and courage. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support you on your journey.

I look forward to working with you!

I am very blessed to be paired with an amazing counselor. She has been incredibly helpful and makes me feel safe and accepted, always without judgement. I have received so much out of my time with her and have learned many things about myself. I needed a therapist who does EMDR for my PTSD and she's amazing at it. She has introduced me to art therapy, as well, and it is a whole new world for me I never knew about. I'm loving it! She always checks on me and is always quick to respond when I message her. I can't imagine counseling any other way. This platform is amazing and so is Sarah. I've had therapy before but this is by far the best.
