I’ve been on the other side of the counseling room. I’ve sat on the couch and I’ve been misunderstood and disregarded by a therapist before. My goal in counseling is to meet each client where they are, with compassion, empathy, and when appropriate, a little bit of laughter. I genuinely believe each person that I come into contact with deserves the chance to be seen. Together, we can begin to grow and create lasting change. I love helping others realize their strengths and guiding them as they navigate their way to a happier, healthier lifestyle through whatever counseling style that may be. My passion is working with teens and young adults struggling to find their place in life.
I graduated from Texas State University in 2012 with my Bachelor’s in Psychology. Soon after, I attended Houston Graduate School of Theology and graduated in 2015 with my Master’s in Counseling. Since then, I have spent my time working with a variety of clients suffering from anxiety, depression, relationship issues, as well as those with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

She is just awesome all around and I can say I finally have someone on my side
Sarah is very personal! always on time! Always listening ! I've enjoyed my time talking to her and learned so much about myself!
This was my first time seeking professional help and I was nervous and not sure how it all worked. I’m so thankful I decided to speak with a counselor and I feel I was matched perfectly. After having a rough day or rough week, I was so grateful to have someone to talk to and felt relieved and overall had a more positive outlook after each call. I feel like I’m in a good place now and that Sarah was able to help me with all areas of my life, from my relationship, to my health, to the struggles and changes at my work due to COVID. I would definitely recommend her and appreciate all of her help throughout this tough time in my life.
Been with Sarah about a year now. She has very good insight and knows exactly what to say when I’m feeling overwhelmed. Would say she excellent at what she does. Easy to communicate with
What a wonderful human! Sarah listens intently and always gives me another perspective to consider. Not right or wrong, just a different way to think about my concerns. She is delightful and insightful.
She’s very kind and down to earth, which makes her feel easy to talk to. She offers good advice that doesn’t feel abrasive or too far-fetched. It was random that I ended up with her, but if I had a choice I would pick her for sure.
Sarah has really helped me work through the issues in my life with new perspectives. She’s helped me find my voice and supported me when I really needed it. She’s given me invaluable resources and worked with me on real life communication skills. I’m so happy that I found her.
Sarah has been a complete fresh breath of air for me. She and I have very similar personalities, and surprisingly have similar upbringings. I have never met someone who I clicked with on a counselor level and I have tried over five counselors in the last three years. Sarah has help me grow in ways I didn’t know I was strong enough to do. I am so thankful to have found her. I have already recommended her to friends.
Great counselor...good listener...good materials...
Sarah is a great therapist. She's able to see the bigger picture and is very friendly therapist. She's easy to work with and really cares about her clients.
Sarah is amazing. She let's me get out what's bothering me and guides me toward the realizations I can't see on my own. She's excellent at guiding me to the root of the issue and helping me analyze, understand, and find my way to acceptance and healing the hurt. I'm so glad we were matched. She is exactly what I need.
Sarah is all ears and really makes me feel understood.
Sarah is fantastic, smart, attentive and extremely empathetic. I’ve had negative results with therapists in the past, this has been nothing but a great experience!
The few months that I have had the privilege to work with Sarah have been phenomenal for my growth. Unlike most, Sarah is equal parts genuine and knowledgeable which only enhances her relatability; her approach to guidance and scaffolding is very very logical, something I greatly appreciate. Lastly, it's clear she's a good person that really really cares, and is exceedingly down to earth and funny. I definitely believe she has helped save me, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to work together
Sarah has been very helpful so far. I was a little weary of trying better help and she has made the jump painless and convenient.
