Sarah Henry

(MA, LPC, LMFT)

About Me

I’ve been on the other side of the counseling room. I’ve sat on the couch and I’ve been misunderstood and disregarded by a therapist before. My goal in counseling is to meet each client where they are, with compassion, empathy, and when appropriate, a little bit of laughter. I genuinely believe each person that I come into contact with deserves the chance to be seen. Together, we can begin to grow and create lasting change. I love helping others realize their strengths and guiding them as they navigate their way to a happier, healthier lifestyle through whatever counseling style that may be. My passion is working with teens and young adults struggling to find their place in life.

I graduated from Texas State University in 2012 with my Bachelor’s in Psychology. Soon after, I attended Houston Graduate School of Theology and graduated in 2015 with my Master’s in Counseling. Since then, I have spent my time working with a variety of clients suffering from anxiety, depression, relationship issues, as well as those with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Sarah is amazing. She let's me get out what's bothering me and guides me toward the realizations I can't see on my own. She's excellent at guiding me to the root of the issue and helping me analyze, understand, and find my way to acceptance and healing the hurt. I'm so glad we were matched. She is exactly what I need.

Sarah is fantastic, smart, attentive and extremely empathetic. I’ve had negative results with therapists in the past, this has been nothing but a great experience!

The few months that I have had the privilege to work with Sarah have been phenomenal for my growth. Unlike most, Sarah is equal parts genuine and knowledgeable which only enhances her relatability; her approach to guidance and scaffolding is very very logical, something I greatly appreciate. Lastly, it's clear she's a good person that really really cares, and is exceedingly down to earth and funny. I definitely believe she has helped save me, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to work together

Sarah has been very helpful so far. I was a little weary of trying better help and she has made the jump painless and convenient.
