About Me

I am a clinical social worker licensed in Colorado with several years of experience working in mental health as a psychotherapist. Prior to obtaining my Master's in Social Work, I worked for many years as a coach, personal trainer and have studied and practiced mindfulness for over two decades. I am a strong believer in the importance of our mind-body connection and believe mental and physical health are interrelated.

My goal in our work together is to personalize an approach with you that is mindfulness based and integrates all levels of human functioning—body, emotions, mind, relationships, spirit–and works at the level that is best suited for the particular challenges you are facing. In addition to mindfulness, I bring strategies informed by many strengths-based psychotherapy traditions. Most often I use combinations of cognitive and behavioral (CBT/DBT) therapies, Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

It takes courage to consider reaching out for help and begin to take steps toward change. I am here to support and empower you on this journey and it is my hope that through our work together you will be able to live in greater alignment with your values in order to live your fullest life possible.

Reviews

Written by D.E. on Oct 26, 2021 after therapy with Sarah for 1 month on issues concerning addictions, relationship issues, family conflicts, eating disorders, self esteem, and career difficulties

I am so so grateful for Sarah's support. She has been extremely compassionate, understanding and present during our video calls and in response to my journal entries. I feel like in 4 short weeks she knows me so well, knows what advice to offer and what changes/practices will benefit me. I'm really impressed by the quality of therapy/recourses I've received, I am being steered towards a better relationship with myself and the world around me.
