About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with almost a decade's experience years of experience as a psychotherapist and clinical social service worker.

I hold a variety of experiences, having worked with ages 5 all the way to 80, in community, government, hospital, and corporate settings. From individual work to family work, some of my areas of specialty include depression, anxiety, attachment, trauma, stress, adjustment/transitions, interpersonal/romantic/familial relationship issues, and personal/professional satisfaction.

My therapy style is lighthearted and inquisitive. I use a harm-reduction and strengths based approaches to help my clients grow at a natural and safe pace, while reflecting on themes learned in the clinical environment. Values I prioritize in the therapy space are respect, consent, empathy, awareness, humor, compassion, patience, forgiveness, and education. Evidence-based approaches and theories I utilize include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Narrative Therapy, Attachment Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs, and typically I incorporate various models!

The more we know, the more we grow. Taking the step to meet with a therapist is an opportunity to know yourself at a deeper level. This requires courage, vulnerability, risk, and commitment, and can lead to so much reward. I hope you find support and safety in our therapy space.

I look forward to working with you on your journey to peace, health, and happiness.
