Hello and welcome! My name is Sarah and I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Washington. I have more than six years of experience working in the mental health field, and have studied human development in the years prior. My experience includes working with a broad range and severity of clinical issues in a variety of environments, including community mental health and private practice. My areas of specialty include depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and relationship/family issues. I also have experience working with LGBT+ issues, anger management, grief and loss, life transitions, and sleep concerns.
I understand that even starting the process of seeking help can be overwhelming; it takes courage to take the first steps towards change. My goal is to work collaboratively with you to achieve whatever goals you are working toward. I believe in transparency, genuine connection, and positivity. Though we may encounter difficult topics, I will always be there to offer support, and trust that you have the skills to manage whatever difficulties you are experiencing. My approach to counseling is warm and friendly, while maintaining a sense of professionalism. I hope that together we will identify your strengths and navigate whatever life is throwing at you.
My clinical hours are typically 10-6 Mon-Thur, with limited availability to check in via messaging on Fridays. I look forward to the possibility of working with you as you take the next step towards achieving your goals!

Still pretty new to this, but Sarah is very attentive and always looks for me even before our sessions. She is very kind and i’m excited to see myself progress with her help.
Sarah through our messages and session has given me clarity with situation and given me the tools to move forward. I hope that I can continue to see her for therapy in the future as well.
