Sarah Mocco, LCPC
About me
Hi, my name is Sarah Mocco and I am a licensed clinical professional counselor as well as a certified alcohol and drug counselor. I have 10 + years of experience working with a wide variety of clients. I have my B.A. in psychology from Augustana College and my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marquette University. I mostly tend to draw from a client centered approach which allows me to combine both my clinical experience and education to best serve the clients I am meeting with. My goal in treatment is to approach each session with the dignity and respect you deserve while supporting you in your personal journey.
In my work with clients I use multiple approaches which are grounded in the client centered approach which include cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, solution focused therapy and motivational interviewing.
I believe in creating a space where you feel heard and supported while also allowing the support to have the difficult conversations that may be part of your change journey. It takes a lot of courage to simply recognize the need for help and even more to take the steps to obtain it. I would be honored to be a part of your journey.
