Throughout my career I have worked passionately with girls and women on nurturing healthy body image, healing from trauma and supporting one another as an empowered female community. I have had the honor of working in multiple treatment settings, including eating disorder treatment facilities, veteran’s services, and private practice.
I believe that many times in life we find ourselves navigating paths that could never before been anticipated. Whether facing choices that seem impossible, healing from trauma, or battling limiting beliefs, my goal is to help my clients foster self-love, accept their choices, and move out of the shadows of guilt, shame, grief and trauma to lead their healthiest and most authentic lives.
I approach my work with a deep appreciation for the physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual aspects of personhood. Therefore, I practice a mind-body-spirit approach to holistic healing, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness training. Prior to obtaining a doctoral degree in clinical psychology, I received education in Creative Writing, Women’s Studies and Art, which I also carry with me into my therapeutic work.

I enjoyed my time working with Sarah, she definitely was a catalyst who helped me work towards my goals and even more. Truly allowed me to gain a deeper insight to self and gave me the tools to really carve my path and gain the growth I’ve needed. It was a pleasure being your patient
Dr. Sarah is a great therapist! I've loved working with her over the last few months. She's so supportive and a great listener. I feel like her advice is tailored specifically to me and she really tries to help me get to the root of what causes my anxiety. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a compassionate, thoughtful and experienced therapist. :) Thank you, Sarah!
