About Me

Hi! I'm Sarah Rossmiller, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas and therefore practicing under the laws of the state of Texas.

So often we encounter darkness and obstacles on this journey of life. I'm dedicated to serving as a guide and fellow traveler to those in need. My passion is helping others develop the healthiest, most authentic version of themselves. Collaboratively, we can uproot and revise unhelpful patterns of thinking, feeling, and coping that are no longer serving you so you can get on with the task of living fully and intentionally, without constraints.

Distressing emotions can be harnessed and alleviated as we work together within a strong therapeutic alliance. The therapeutic relationship and connection is key. I strive to communicate a compassionate, transparent style and intuitive nature that will gently challenge you towards change at a pace with which you are comfortable.

I employ an integrative approach to therapy. I'm an "Existential Humanist" at heart, but I use various strategies from other methodologies, primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, to aid in the therapy process.

"To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Sarah has been a tremendous part of my growth. She has a gentle way of telling me things to where I can comprehend what she's telling me. She is amazing!!!

I would highly recommend Sarah and this service, in fact I already have. In the past, I've worked with therapists but didn't really feel that I got anywhere with them. With Sarah, I feel as though I'm making so much progress. She has given such great advice and I feel incredibly comfortable telling her everything. Thank you Sarah!

Sarah reads all of the novels I write, she asks questions to clarify when she doesn't understand what I was saying. She also asks really great questions that pull out a lot from underneath for me. I feel like she is 100% on my side. I have recommended this service to everyone I talk to about therapy.

Sarah Rossmiller is very insightful and wise. She always has a helpful, thoughtful response. Her experience seems extensive because she always has a great response and seems to know so much. I'm getting a lot out of having her as a therapist.

She really understands and gives very good advice. She is better than the therapists I have had in person.

Although I have only been worked with Sarah for a couple of weeks I think she is amazing! She goes above and beyond what I thought I would get from this service. I am so thankful that she was chosen as my counselor.

Sarah has been the first therapist I've had the pleasure of working with, and she's been really great. She really gives you the opportunity to explain perspectives, and always offers great insight. I would definitely recommend her.

I'm so glad to have Sarah! Not only did she give me real insight about myself, things I've been struggling with for years, but at one point, she was my only outlet to my situation, which I had been drowning in before these sessions. I honestly don't think I would've been able to stay away from the situation I was in if I didn't have counciling with Sarah.
