I've always felt that finding a therapist who truly connects with you is difficult. Because if that bond is not formed, it is difficult to enjoy the process of seeking assistance. But I never felt this way towards Sarah. I feel she truly connected with me and provided me with a safe place to discuss everything. She is there for me and understands my needs even when I can't. She always validates my viewpoint and, when appropriate, shows me alternative ways to consider my own thoughts and feelings. Sarah provided me the tools to help me support myself as the most important person in my own life.

Sarah listens so incredibly well and I don't mean just listening to my life hurdles. She listens to recognize and understand a deeper rooted issue/concern. I appreciate that she spends time quietly processing and doesn't fill the time with unnecessary "yeah, ok, sure" words. I feel truly supported with a vision to be a better version of myself by Sarah. She is a real gem.
