About me

I am a licensed professional in Georgia with over 7 years of experience working as a counselor. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, and substance abuse. I have worked in a variety of settings to include psychiatric hospitals, correctional facilities, schools, as well as community based programs. I have experience working with children and teens, criminal offenders, couples, families, and anyone seeking to find "their way."

My counseling style is accepting and nonjudgmental. I am here to help you self actualize and reach your potential, not what I think it should be! I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, solution focused, and reality counseling. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

I look forward to working with you!

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Sarah Sistrunk. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

Sarah is an excellent therapist who has the ability to be completely real with her patients. She primarily uses talk therapy as the modality to help people work through challenges. She has an easy and laid back style that is very comforting because she immediately creates a safe environment to talk about things without judgement. I enjoyed my sessions with her and always took away a nugget that helped me progress in my thinking. I highly recommend her for people looking to unpack their issues and find a different perspective that will help in the process of moving forward.
