About me
I am licensed in Colorado with 3 years of professional work experience. My focus is on two main areas: supporting professionals struggling with compassion fatigue and/or burnout including, if wanted, work on restructuring existing systems to be less siloed and more supportive; and on complex trauma and attachment issues. I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities depending on the person and circumstance, but typically favor a somatic approach. This means I believe that we hold unprocessed trauma in our physical bodies, so I will often focus less on 'the story' and more on where the client feels it in their body when unpleasant memories come up. Some people, especially those who have been through therapy before and are sick and tired of sharing the same painful memories, really favor this approach. Others find it too intimate. I always appreciate constructive feedback, as a big part of my job is figuring out what works best for you as an individual!
I work hard alongside my clients to create an open, authentic space where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Reaching out for support, especially if you've done so before and been disappointed, is a tough thing to do. I'm glad you are looking, and I sincerely hope you find the right match for you.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Sarah Sticha. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
She’s amazing and I have never had a better experience with therapy in my life
My experience with Sarah has been transformative, empowering, and opened many doors for my processes. She has enriched the virtual space unlike anyone else I've worked with previously.
Sarah is amazing. Incredible listener, asks incredibly insightful questions that really help you dissect the issues you're trying to confront. Really appreciate her recaps after our sessions that highlight key terms, phrases or questions that came up so that I can focus on those things, do some journaling and continue down that path of thought/discussion for our next session if I choose. Sarah allows you to lead the way, and lends her insight to help you find the root of what you're looking for. Highly recommend.
