About me

Hello! I am licensed in Wisconsin with 3 years of experience as a therapist at a nonprofit mental health clinic. I have experience working with a variety of areas, although I am most interested in working with adults to address stress, anxiety, anger management, relationship issues, family conflicts, trauma, abuse, and life changes. I also really like to work with couples. I am certified in trauma-informed care, certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trained in Brainspotting phases 1 and 2. I am currently working on training for Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT). Before becoming a therapist, I have experience working in mental health in a variety of settings since 2017, including a homeless shelter and an eating disorder clinic.

Shae is a great listener. She hears my concerns and offers ways to move forward with treatment both short and long term.

Shae is very understanding and I have felt that our appointments have been very productive. In the past, I have had therapists that don't always feel like they are helping me work through stuff, but Shae has been very helpful in working through things and processing my thoughts and emotions. She is very considerate and kind, and it has been very encouraging as I work to better myself.
