I enjoy guiding people through life transitions and adjusting to difficult changes or new stressors. Whether you want to change your current situation or become more comfortable in what life has thrown at you, I am here to help you make sense of what your going through.

I use a strengths based approach to explore what skills you already have so that you can move forward toward your personal goals. I also use cognitive behavioral approaches to examine thought patterns. I have practiced since 2013 with children in the schools, elderly in primary care, and adults going through grief and end of life in dialysis.

Shaina has been a Godsend for me and my social anxiety problems. I've suffered from anxiety, and especially social anxiety, my entire life. I wasn't even able to talk to a cashier at Starbucks without feeling anxiety and I would be extremely hard on myself all the time for not being able to socialize properly, which led to long bouts of depression. Finally at the start of the 2022 year, I decided to get help. As soon as I met Shaina she was kind, personable, empathetic, and very knowledgable about the small steps that I needed to take to take control of my life again. 3 1/2 months later with Shaina, I'm happy to say that I feel almost no social anxiety in social settings anymore. She has guided me through so many difficult situations that I've faced and was always ready to give me an action plan on what to do to keep the anxiety under control. Today I am able to speak freely to people in public, I'm able to talk to women with confidence, and I'm able to really love myself.

To anybody reading this suffering from the same thing, just know that there is so much work on your part that needs to be done too. You can have an amazing therapist like Shaina guiding you, but you need to be the one to put the work into yourself because ultimately only you can be the one to dig yourself out of these mental ruts. Don't just expect your therapist to be able to change your life without you doing your part; they're there to guide you in the right direction, but you're the one that needs to do the heavy lifting. But I promise it is so worth it in the end.

With that being said, Shaina's compassion, knowledge and professionalism was amazing and she has changed my life for the better. I 100% recommend her for anybody suffering from anxiety issues. Thanks again Shaina.

Wonderfully knowledgeable and kind. Makes me feel so comfortable discussing hard issues. Always has something small to work on for the next week to keep me focused on healing. I highly recommend her for relationship, self esteem, and anxiety issues.

I've had one session with Shaina and after it I felt immediately relieved and better. She understood my concerns and doubts. She is so incredibly kind, thoughtful and lovely to talk to. Her voice is very comforting and I feel really secure with sharing all my thoughts with her. Honestly can't wait for my next session!
