Dr. Helmholdt is so kind and understanding. I feel like she understands me and validates my feelings, and more than anything provides me space to process emotions and work through things myself with some helpful guidance as needed. She also shares so many helpful tools to use outside of counseling sessions to make what we do on betterhelp applicable to my everyday life. Thanks, Dr, Shana!

Dr. Helmholdt is a renowned professional who uses proven methods (such as worksheets) to help you through whatever issues you may be dealing with. At the time that I was seeing Dr. Helmholdt, and still to this day, I was dealing with anxiety, depression, and on/off suicidal thoughts. I would recommend Dr. Helmholdt in a heartbeat. Especially since I tend to be nit-picky when comes to seeking counseling/therapy such as this and look for someone with at least a Doctorate in Psychology (PsyD) prior to booking with them, and Dr. Helmholdt happens to meet that requirement! Thank you Dr. Helmholdt for everything! Keep doing what you are doing.
