Shannon has already been lots of help in the short time we have communicated. I'm already feeling better about some issues I've been dealing with.

Shannon creates wonderful space for me to feel and be. I've been in contact with several counselors over the past year and haven't been feeling any different. It's so painfully hard to be open with a complete stranger, handing over your embarrassing thoughts and constant-changing emotions. Being exposed is scary. Taking off work and driving for a one-hour pressure session has made my anxiety worse. But with Shannon, I feel deeply comforted by her reaching out and as I mentioned before, she creates a safe and explorative space for me. She is wise and I sense how compassionate she is. To a person, petrified of being alone and struggling with feelings of shame, having someone like Shannon (and that could only be Shannon) helps me sleep at night and show up in the world.

Shannon is a wonderful counselor and provides timely and helpful exercises and advice. I have enjoyed my interactions with Shannon and look forward working together it the upcoming months.
