Shanon met me at a place of grief, loss, and heartbreak. I had lost a friend of mine and grieved with a close friend of mine who I had had a difficult past with. There were many emotions that came up because of many problems in my childhood and adolescence that went unresolved and consequently impacted every decision I had made.

I felt pits of loneliness, desperation, fear and anxiety of the future, inabilities to move on from the past, longing for my identity, I coped with binge eating, I had troubles with expressing my sexuality and feelings for others, I had toxic masculinity embedded in my beliefs that we worked out and turned into a healthy masculinity, and with the tools that Shanon gave me I learned how to be a healthy man.

At my deepest pit, I had suicidal feelings. Shanon recognized how I got there and guided me in the direction back into living life with joy. The help that I've received from Shanon has taught me how to feel, how to express, how to listen, how to set healthy boundaries, how to love, how to have compassion, how to work out problems, how to be kind and generous, and how to be a good person for myself and for others. Mental health has never been clearer of a picture for me, and I'm looking forward to using these tools to spread joy in my community and one day raise a family in a way contrary to that of generations in my family's past. THANK YOU, Shanon.

Shannon is a great therapist. I love that she took the time in our first session to identify my goals and expectations for therapy. I feel very supported and have been able to work through a lot of my stuff in a very short amount of time. Genuinely she is the best!

Shanon is incredible. From the moment we first met I felt like she just understood me and met me where I was at. She validated me along the way and really challenged me (in the best way possible) when I needed it. I couldn’t recommend shanon enough!!
