My name is Shantell Navarro, and I am a newly licensed professional counselor in Caldwell ID. I received my master's degree from Northwest Nazarene University in 2021 in Clinical Counseling with an emphasis in grief and trauma. I have also received training in EMDR. I am currently specializing in eating disorders and also work often with clients experiencing a range of symptoms such as anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, and personality disorders. I enjoy using acceptance and commitment therapy as my main treatment modality, but I also like to incorporate various modalities depending on what fits the client. I believe that true happiness and peace comes from authenticity, self-acceptance and finding your true self and identity. I believe in the importance of a no judgement zone, and I accept all kinds of people, identities, and struggles. This search within yourself can be difficult, and I am here to support you every step of the way, we can get through it together.

Shantell is an amazing therapist. She's one of the first therapists where I have felt listened to and understood. She also was very attentive and on time. I highly recommend her!
