I believe that change is possible. And sometimes we need guidance to get to the change. My name is Sharisse Edwards and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Ohio. What you think has a strong influence over your behavior. Therefore, my approach is Cognitive Behavior and Mindfulness therapies. As a counselor, my responsibility to my clients is to assist them with processing information so they can make better decisions for their lives. I am also working on my certification for hypnotherapy. I am currently able to work with people dealing with anxiety or need self confidence building.

Sharisse has been such a big help and support to me over the past few months. She is such a great listener and has helped me build my confidence to a point I never thought possible, and I can’t recommend her enough for anyone struggling with anxiety or self-esteem!

I live better help because I could select a counselor that understood my life and the ways I'd like to analyse it and improve upon it. Well Sharisse is fantastic, she listens, guides, challenges, and understands the moments where I need a push. She reminds me that this, and everything is a process. I can say that she's definitely help nurture me out of a depression and continues to remind me to come back to my tools to keep myself mentally well. I would recommend her to anyone.

I've been working with Sharisse since September and she has been an amazing help. I was in a really bad place and she's given me the tools I need to work through everything I'm dealing with.

Sharisse creates a supportive space for me to unpack my emotions and find ways to make life easier on myself. In a world where we are constantly practicing "fitting in" and suppressing our instincts, Sharissa opens the dialogue to look at things from a new perspective and lean into the current, rather than swim upstream. Thank you Sharissa for continuing to make life lighter.

Sharisse is fantastic at what she does in every way. It’s always super comfortable to talk to her like talking to a friend. This is my first real experience with counseling and it’s been great so far. I’m often led to my own understanding of issues and shown how things I may not have thought significant are playing a role in my life. I’ve learned so much through this extreme with her and I always learn something new in a way it sticks with me which has helped the application process much more. I love my experience and time with Sharisse and I look forward to more!!!

Sharisse seeks to understand what I try and say because it usually comes out in a jumbled mess. She asks questions in a safe way that helps to shine light on areas I'm afraid to venture into alone and she challenges me to dig deeper to make sense of my own path. She helps facilitate a safe space for me to uncover and explore deep hidden hurts and traumas and helps me make sense of why I am react certain ways in certain situations.

Thoughtful, concise, encouraging. Still in early stages of rapport building and only having sent a few messages back and forth makes it hard to judge. Based on first impressions and her profile, I would recommend.

Sharisse is someone that I felt comfortable to open up to and with very quickly - something I do not usually do. She is kind, understanding and truly present in our sessions and in her messages between them. She validates my feelings while also helping me to understand how and why I feel the way(s) that I feel. I am very grateful to have Sharisse as a part of my team.

Sharisse shows sincere concern to listen when texting or on the phone. It doesn’t seem scripted which is important to me.
