Worth it

Written on Nov 30, 2022 after therapy with Sharlene for 5 months on issues concerning depression, stress, anxiety, relationship issues, coping with life changes, and compassion fatigue

Before I started therapy, I remembered constantly being stressed, anxious, and mentally fatigued. Sharlene not only helped me, but her guidance and emotional support had improved my quality of life. She taught me how properly communicate when it comes to bringing up my emotions, and how to manage difficult life changes. Because of her, my relationship with my partner has improved, my stress management skills has bettered, and my overall mood is more positive. I highly recommend Sharlene. She’s an amazing therapist

I don’t have words, Sharlene is the best. I have never been in therapy with someone so understanding, compassionate and yet professional and knowlegeble before. Thanks to her I’m finally starting to put my life back together, a project that felt bigger then life until she started helping me see to it bit by bit.
Highly recommend her to anybody who is feeling lost or without purpose

Sharlene was the best therapist I had. The impact of her work will remain for the rest of my life. She was beyond a therapist to me, she was a guide, a mentor, someone who I know always wants the best for me. She is extremely professional, kind, and attentive. I will forever be grateful for having her as my therapist.

Sharlene is fantastic! She is so kind and welcoming; it was so easy to be open and honest with her. She also respected boundaries for topics that I wasn’t ready to talk about yet (she was patient and we eventually talked about those things). She has really helped me understand myself better, and how the trauma in my life has shaped me. Since starting to meet with Sharlene, I have seen great improvements in my anxiety, coping skills, and self-esteem. She has helped me have a different perspective on my life and my relationships, and I am so grateful!

Written on Jul 25, 2022 after therapy with Sharlene for 1 year and 3 months on issues concerning depression, stress, anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, grief, intimacy-related issues, eating disorders, and self esteem

Meeting with Sharlene for well over a year I feel like I have grown in so many ways emotionally that I hadn't thought possible for a long time. I was able to talk things through without judgement and even when she questioned my responses I never felt attacked or belittled. I always left our sessions feeling like I had accomplished something in my personal growth journey. Unfortunately I have to take a break and it is truly hard to think of not having my weekly video sessions but I am also at a point where I have learned enough skills to cope with whatever may arise and Sharlene has made me feel comfortable that when I am ready to reestablish my sessions I can always return which is great news to me since I do intend to be back after my brief pause and would love to be able to speak with her again.
