It takes courage to reach out for support, this is the second phase of your process; the first is the acknowledgement that you need support and making the decision to move forward. I do understand the many challenges that we face as we navigate through our life experiences. While I am a Helping Professional, I do believe in the human connection and will work with you to embrace all aspects of yourself. Despite challenges, no matter how difficult; it is my belief that we all possess, the ability to empower ourselves and regain control over our lives.
It is important to be patient with yourself as you work toward your healing. Celebrate every step forward and learn from every step you may take back. It is through pain that we grow, (growing Pains). Learn to find reasons to love yourself, embrace your uniqueness; nurture and hold yourself accountable for the changes you hope to accomplish. Stay the course!

I've found it very easy to share my thoughts and feelings with Sharlene. She is a Christian so she understands my point of view and values, but she is also a capable secular counselor. And she's very patient and unjudgemental!
Best combination Ive ever encountered!
Sharlene is wonderful. Boy does our sessions go by quickly, but I love the way she listens and is genuinely in tune with what I have to say.
Sharlene has asked me deep questions that help me dig deeper to what it is I truly feel, believe, and think. I love being able to be completely open and discuss anything and everything with her. So grateful for the healing our conversations are already providing me. Thank you Sharlene!
Sharlene was been wonderful. She goes above and beyond. I can feel her empathy and compassion through a zoom call and I trust in her expertise and guidance. She gives you a human heart to heart experience while still maintaining the professional insight you need. I would definitely recommend her.
Thanks so much for the way you helped me create outlook on my experiences.
I highly recommend Sharlene, really to anyone.
Sharlene is great with connecting you to methods that help you cope with your specific issues. She is understanding and does a good job assigning you things to work on. Lots of connection of mind body and spirit. Wonderful.
Working with Sharlene was so special. She made me feel comfortable after our first session. Her ability to connect with you is so beneficial in each session, as you navigate through what brought you to therapy to begin with. Highly recommend :)
Sharlene has been great. I have been using better help for a few weeks and already I can see a huge difference in myself. She is a great counselor and would recommend her to everyone!
She’s the best counselor I’ve ever had! She clearly knows what she’s talking about and genuinely cares about other people.
Sharlene is the most understanding therapist I ever had and I enjoy our sessions a lot
Sharlene really listens to what you say and prompts you when you are lost for words. She really cares about the person.
Very thankful to have started working with her!
