Sharlene was an empathetic, energetic, and competent counselor. She often knew what I was trying to say even when I struggled how to articulate it, because of her great emotional intelligence and listening abilities. I greatly benefited from Sharlene's balanced approach to the healing journey, including nourishing the body and spirit in addition to the mind – I truly learned well-rounded tools to manage my depression, anxiety, and processing painful events from my past. Sharlene was very good at identifying what I needed to process or explore, and giving me specific and helpful homework to process and learn those things (e.g. journaling prompts specific to my struggles). Even when I had different struggles or topics week-to-week as I was going through a lot of changes, Sharlene was very adept at pivoting topics and techniques to address my struggles for that week. I highly recommend Sharlene as she helped me meet my therapy goals and I feel comfortable taking a pause on individual therapy for now and taking what I've learned from her on my journey forward.

Sharlene is such an amazing person. An amazing therapist. I'm so glad I am able to be connected to her. She has helped me grow in so many ways. I honestly don't believe I would be where I am today if it was not for her!! If you are paired with her. You will not be disappointed

She is a great person, empathetic, and helped me regulate my emotions. I made a lot of progress because of her. She helped me trust myself again and taught me to be authentic. This process of accepting myself has changed me on a lot of levels. It helped me heal my trauma.
