About me

Hello,
I am a Licensed Social Worker in the State of Michigan, and I have a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology. I have been a therapist for over 25 years with a lot of experience working with children, the elderly population, the foster care system, and working with the disabled population. In addition, I had a Private Practice, where I have provided Individual, Group, Marriage and Family Therapy. I have addressed an array of problems, in the areas of depression, anxiety, disability, autism, stress management, caregiver issues, consulting and career counseling. My therapy approach is eclectic, because I believe that everyone’s situation is unique and may require a different therapeutic approach. My eclectic style is an evidence-based approach, by utilizing, cognitive behavioral therapy, crisis management, problem solving and motivational therapy. My goal is to help my clients improve in their quality of life, by providing them with guidance, support, encouragement, empowerment, motivation, inspiration, hope, and results. I believe in treating my clients with dignity, respect, engaging and involving them in the treatment process.
I am approachable, empathetic, compassionate, fair, equitable and a good listener. I want my clients to feel like they can share anything with me. I want them to feel welcomed, accepted, understood, and free of judgement. This is a brave step for a person, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

The thing that stood out to me the most about Dr. Brady was how much she cared. I could tell she wasn't just doing a job as a therapist but truly cared about me and my wellbeing. I believe it was her care that was the key ingredient to all the healing and progress I made while working with her. Thanks Dr. Brady!

I could not be more thankful for Dr. Brady! I downloaded BetterHelp and was matched with her during a very rough time of my life. She was nothing but kind and gracious as we navigated the waters of my life transitions together. I knew that I was always able to reach out to her whenever I needed to and her sage advice is something I will carry with me forever. She is kind and understanding and will often make you laugh when it feels like the world is crumbling. With her years of experience I always felt like she had such a deep understanding of what I was working through and that really came through when we would talk during our weekly sessions. She was always the voice of reason I needed and the person I would always want in my corner when I need to process big things. I am so glad I had the opportunity to be her client and I would suggest her to each and every one of my loved ones.

Dr Brady is a wonderful counselor. She really listened to my relationship concerns and provided great feedback on asking for help, forgiving and supporting my family. She has experience as a working mother and understands the pressure and work required of us which makes her support invaluable. I've been able to apply these skills at home and at work and my relationships have improved!

As someone who just decided to start BetterHelp and look for therapy, it was overwhelming and daunting to think of trying to find the person who I thought would be a good fit and address my anxieties. Thankfully, I found Dr. Bland Brady on the first try. She has been nothing short of helpful to me in these trying and uncertain times. Dr. Bland Brady is easy to talk to and has given me the space to open up and be real with myself so that I can address the difficult topics that I often try to sweep under the rug. She’s someone to confide in and bring clarity to so many of my thoughts, anxieties and concerns without judgement. Dr. Bland Brady truly cares about seeing her clients shine and becoming their best and I truly appreciate that.

It feels like talking to an aunt. She is very comfortable to talk to. I don’t feel judged and I can tell that she wants the best for me.
