About me
If you are struggling with depression, anxiety, or other issues that are preventing you from being the best "you" that you can be, then I can help. If you want to move beyond your barriers and challenges in life, then I can help. My theories of choice are Narrative and Solution Focused Therapy, as I believe that everyone has a story to tell, and within that story are strengths, that will help you heal. Since no two people are the same, no treatment plan will be the same.
Trauma informed care is the cornerstone of my therapeutic approach. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, as well as, Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I believe in a collaborative client/family-centered approach and in celebrating successes, as well as, addressing challenges.
I served 22+ years in the military, traveled abroad, and have a great deal of respect for the uniqueness of each individual, couple, and family. I embrace different cultures, backgrounds, and beliefs. And I have an appreciation for clients being the experts of their own lives. My passion is to meet you where you are and help you get to where you want to be.
I look forward to meeting you!
