About me

Hi, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who is following my passion for service. That energy led me to Colorado Christian University for a master’s degree that is rooted in love, spiritual and theological foundations. I am a real person with real flaws who is moving forward and looking to help others. It is not about being perfect but managing to find and work with the authentic you for healthier and balanced living. Let's take the stigma out of mental health and get the help we need.

I provide an integrative approach to counseling with cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral, solution-focused, psychoeducational, trauma-informed, motivational interviewing, and positive psychology. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is also a part of the process. I have experience serving adults and adolescents suffering from anxiety, stress, depression, family conflict, trauma, grief, loss, substance use, women’s issues, parenting problems, behavior disorders, emotion dysregulation (anger management), work/life balance and cultural challenges.

I see you. You are here because you decided to take action. I hope you feel good about that. Let’s make a connection in a caring, respectful and nonjudgmental space.

Ms. Stevens is really amazing. Non-judgmental and very positive. I love working with her.

Ms.Sharon is Amazing to work with. She helps me get to the root of my concerns and even some I didn't realize I should have. Although gentle, she does a great job of helping me stay accountable with and for myself. I enjoy her approach. I also appreciate that she does more than validate and affirm my feelings. She pushes me to do the work by asking follow-up questions and sending me homework before our next session. Thank you so much, Ms. Sharon, you are heaven sent ❤️

Sharon is the right person for me and if she has your values I know she will be the right person for you. This area is very close to her heart and I believe you can see that through her work, tone of conversation, and smile

Sharon is very understanding and has a beautiful, kind soul. She is patience and listens well. She provides exercises and information that related to your conversation, and follows through to ensure that it's working for you. If not, she finds alternative ways. I can't remember how long I've been with Sharon but she absolutely the best therapist I've had and I told her she's my therapist until she retires. haha
