I have experience in community mental health settings in Arizona which allowed me to work with a range of uncomfortable things for clients. I have experience working with Bipolar, Schizophrenia, Anxiety, Depression, anger, substance use, phase of life changes, relationship struggles and much more. I bring Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy into practice when needed and utilize mindfulness skills to assist clients towards their solutions. Working with a diverse population allowed for me to provide a non-judgmental environment for thoughts and feelings to be explored and solutions to be discovered.

I was been hesitant to start therapy again, it can be really challenging work. But the process has been on my terms, and I really connected with my counselor Shauntee. I’ve felt listened to, understood and empowered along the way. I’ve seen so much progress in myself and I have confidence that I can handle the things I used to really struggle with. I’m so grateful I was matched with Shauntee and I look forward to every time we get to have our phone sessions.
