About Me

Who we are today is not a product of the experience we face; instead, who we are comes from how we have learned to respond to the experience. After working for the past 20 years in the behavior health field and being a licensed clinical therapist since 2008, I found that no one approach works with everyone. I take a Client Centered approach using client specific goals to help navigate the journey of self-discovery and personal empowerment to guide the process. My training and practice as a ViniYoga teacher along with structured training in applied behavioral science makes for a smooth blend of spirituality and science to aid in the healing and growth process. I value the concepts of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy model to working with people struggling with issues of depression, anxiety, trauma and relationship stressors impacting their ability to have a better quality of daily life. My approach to therapy wholistic, valuing the whole person.
My name is Sheila and I am honored for you to allow me to join you on your journey to a better quality of life.
