Sheila Reynolds
About me
Hello. My name is Sheila Reynolds. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor(LPC) and a Board Certified Coach (BCC) in the state of Georgia. I have over 15 years of experience as a therapist and life coach in private practice as well as within the military, adoption agencies, and churches. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. My expertise is related to marriage and relationship issues, divorce recovery, self-worth, life transitions, creating healthy boundaries, effective communication, conflict resolution, and stress management. I have an especially strong background and extensive experience working with military spouses and all members of the adoption triad (adoptees, adoptive parents, and birth parents).
My counseling style is warm and engaging. I provide a safe and sacred space for my clients where they feel heard, valued, and supported. I meet my clients where they are and the most common feedback I get from them is that I am easy to talk to. I am an authentic, caring, and experienced counselor. You can expect me to walk with you through whatever difficulties you are facing and help you learn more about yourself and the way you interact with the world. I incorporate a variety of therapeutic approaches and techniques but primarily use cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused counseling, and motivational interviewing.
It would be my pleasure to work with you. It takes a lot of courage to work towards a more fulfilling and happier life, if you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.
