Shelley Brannon

About Me

My name is Shelley and I'd like to acknowledge you for taking the step to ask for support. It takes strength and courage to get this far and you already display these qualities. Woohoo! People from all walks of life and at all different times in their life can benefit from the right person listening to and supporting them. Having an objective person can be exactly what you need to move forward in a positive direction.

I work with couples and individuals experiencing a variety of difficult emotions, often due to life changes or transitions (marriage, separation, divorce, new job, left a job, moving to new house/state, new relationship, end of a relationship, had a baby,...). I have devoted my career to studying attachment styles and their effect on how we show up in the world. Our attachment style leads to how we show up in relationships, how we feel when we're in them (safe/not safe) and how we react as a result.

I also support parents through the acquisition of skills & deepening their attachment and emotional connection with their children.

Making sense of your life experiences allows you to pave a successful path for your future.
It's empowering.

I'd like to help empower you.

My techniques are tailored to best meet you where you are and I offer a friendly, warm, reflective space where difficult feelings, behaviors and thoughts can be safely explored in a non-judgmental atmosphere.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Shelley is an incredible human being. I couldn't ask for a better counselor. She really listens to me and relates to me in the best ways possible. I can really connect with her, therefore I trust her. It's important to me to have that bond with my therapist. I love Shelley! I don't know what I would do without her!

Shelly always just lets me know she’s there. She has the experience I’ve been looking for; wife/partner and Mom. I’m very thankful for her.
