My name is Shelley and I'd like to acknowledge you for taking the step to ask for support. It takes strength and courage to get this far and you already display these qualities. People from all walks of life and at all different times in their life can benefit from the right person listening to and supporting them. Having an objective person can be exactly what you need to move forward in a positive direction.
I work with couples and individuals experiencing a variety of difficult emotions, often due to life changes or transitions (marriage, separation, divorce, new job, left a job, moving to new house/state, new relationship, end of a relationship, new baby, etc.). I also support parents through the acquisition of skills & deepening their attachment and emotional connection with their children.
I have devoted my career to studying attachment styles and their effect on how we show up in the world. Our attachment style leads to how we show up in relationships, how we feel when we're in them (safe/not safe) and how we react as a result. Making sense of our life experiences, putting them in context, allows us to pave a successful path for a better future.
I'd like to help empower you.
My techniques are tailored to best meet you where you are, meaning, we don’t do or talk about anything you’re not ready for. I will always respect your boundaries.
I offer a friendly, warm, reflective space where difficult feelings, behaviors and thoughts can be safely explored in a non-judgmental atmosphere.
I look forward to hearing from you.
PS: I take the weekends off to spend time with my loved ones, to relax, and to nurture myself. If you leave a message after 8:00 pm Friday or anytime on the weekend, I won't see it until Monday morning, but assure you I will respond then!

Where to even begin with Shelley. She is such an amazing therapist. I have learned so much from her, and gained so much confidence in myself and my mental health. She is a staple part of my well being. She gives me strength when I dont feel I have any, and reminds me of the steps we can take together to piece the puzzle together. I look forward to our weekly sessions every week :)
Shelley has revolutionized my emotional matureness. I feel more empowered than ever and most importantly, I’m equipped with great tools to handle anything. Thank you so much Shelly.
Shelley is amazing! I don’t know what I would do without her!
Shelly is excellent, she's understanding, insightful a wonderful teacher and listener. I couldn't ask for a better counselor.
Shelley is compassionate when needed, direct when needed - simply put, Shelley Brannon is top-shelf!
Shelley is absolutely wonderful; she really tries to understand your position and gives so much support. The other thing I love is her emphasis on understanding yourself and your stressors which really helps on the climb for empowerment. :)
Very nice, works with your schedule understanding. Will go out of her way to help.
Shelley is excellent! She is very well-spoken, high-energy, extremely knowledgeable, and very supportive. After every appointment, Shelley gives me a tool or task to work on. I highly recommend Shelley for anyone dealing with anxiety!
I have been amazed at the way she supports and communicates with me in ways that I have never experienced. She understands all of my feelings and needs, even when I feel I can't explain them. She has given me the necessary outlet that I needed to get through a very tough time in life. She offered many ways for me to alter my emotional responses and understand them. I am forever grateful for the time she gave me and the direction she provided.
Shelly has been wonderful. She has provided me with multiple techniques to address different concerns. She has helped me to navigate life challenges as an HSP that I hadn't known were affecting me and gave me a sense of self grace towards my "HSPness". She has fantastically funny analogies for life struggles and how to associate them with less tension and more grace. I leave every session with a nugget that has helped me overcome big obstacles.
Shelley has nailed it on every concern I have, and offered some good opportunities to grow. I thoroughly enjoy our written exchanges, and look forward to phone time too.
Shelley is absolutely amazing! Such a loving and caring person with not only professional experience but personal experience as a parent and a relationship partner. I feel like she could relate to me in those aspects of my life.
