My name is Shelley and I'd like to acknowledge you for taking the step to ask for support. It takes strength and courage to get this far and you already display these qualities. People from all walks of life and at all different times in their life can benefit from the right person listening to and supporting them. Having an objective person can be exactly what you need to move forward in a positive direction.
I work with couples and individuals experiencing a variety of difficult emotions, often due to life changes or transitions (marriage, separation, divorce, new job, left a job, moving to new house/state, new relationship, end of a relationship, new baby, etc.). I also support parents through the acquisition of skills & deepening their attachment and emotional connection with their children.
I have devoted my career to studying attachment styles and their effect on how we show up in the world. Our attachment style leads to how we show up in relationships, how we feel when we're in them (safe/not safe) and how we react as a result. Making sense of our life experiences, putting them in context, allows us to pave a successful path for a better future.
I'd like to help empower you.
My techniques are tailored to best meet you where you are, meaning, we don’t do or talk about anything you’re not ready for. I will always respect your boundaries.
I offer a friendly, warm, reflective space where difficult feelings, behaviors and thoughts can be safely explored in a non-judgmental atmosphere.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Shelley is amazing! I don’t know what I would do without her.
Shelley is absolutely amazing! Such a loving and caring person with not only professional experience but personal experience as a parent and a relationship partner. I feel like she could relate to me in those aspects of my life.
