Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Shelley Hughes. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Working with Shelley has been nothing short of transformative. From our very first session, she created a space that felt safe, supportive, and judgment-free—an environment where I could truly open up and begin to do the real work on myself. Since starting therapy with her, I’ve noticed a remarkable shift in my mindset: I feel more positive, more optimistic, and far more grounded in my own sense of self.
What sets Shelley apart is her ability to offer insight and tools that are not only practical but empowering. She’s helped me reflect deeply and honestly on my emotions and experiences—guiding me to own my feelings rather than be overwhelmed by them. Through our work together, I’ve learned how to identify what isn’t working in my life and, most importantly, how to take meaningful steps to change it. In both my personal and professional life, I feel more empowered, more in control, and more connected to what matters most to me.
Shelley doesn’t just help you “cope”—she helps you grow. She brings empathy, intelligence, and a rare ability to really listen and respond in ways that make you feel seen and understood. Her support has been a catalyst for genuine, much needed change in my life.
If you’re looking for a therapist who will walk with you through the hard stuff and cheer you on as you rise above it—Shelley is the one. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
