About me

Choosing to begin therapy shows incredible inner strength. I provide a safe, trusting and non-judgmental environment in which we work together on your challenges. After graduating with my Master degree in social work (Arizona State University) I began my training with trauma victims, went on to work in eating disorders and now am serving the substance abuse community. While I bring knowledge and experience to the work, you are the expert on you: your goals and feedback on the process will drive our work together. I am experienced with teens and adult individuals. "Aspire to more in life than the sum of all your suffering".
I am a psychotherapist whose expertise is in the treatment of eating disorders, co-dependence, trauma/PTSD, anxiety/depression, and addictive/compulsive behaviors. I authored the book, "Emily's Guide to Eating Disorders" and has taught for both the NASW and the SEEDS conference.
I offer an authentic therapeutic relationship for healing. My commitment is to actively listen; to witness your journey; to learn about your worldview and experiences; and to provide support on your path towards insight, growth, and self-fulfillment.

I feel that she understands me and I feel like she is well educated in the topics I bring up. I know I can talk to her about anything.
