About me

Counseling is an effective way for individuals to make significant personal life changes. I partner with my clients to identify the concerns and experiences that have led them to seek professional help. Together we create a plan that identifies ideals and sets goals and realistic expectations for change. Fostering resilience in the face of adversity, through a confidential counseling relationship we collaborate to break unhealthy patterns and create newer, more adaptive coping skills. With mutual commitment, consistency, honesty, trust, and humor, psychological, emotional, social and functional personal change is achievable and sustainable.

I provide individual and family counseling to adults and adolescents. Specialties include interpersonal relationships (personal, professional, social), depression, anxiety, mood issues, anger management, healthy sexuality, sex addiction, gender matters, LGBTQ, human development, parenting, life transitions, career issues, trauma, ADD, PTSD, attachment and personality issues, self-injury, cultural adaptation, and identity formation.

Twenty-eight years in practice, I am a very experienced clinician. A warm and nonjudgemental counselor, I am interactive and highly respectful of individual differences. I truly value my clients and enjoy the counseling work. I am committed to individuals finding authenticity and personal and professional success. I am currently accessible to my clients via messaging and live-messaging platforms.
