I have been a clinician for over 15 years working with couples, families and children. I attended the Joint Master of Social Work program at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I am licensed in both Maryland and the District of Columbia and I specialize in anxiety, depression, stress management and couples.
Beyond this experience, I also have a certification in Financial Social Work from the University of Maryland at Baltimore as I have found through the years of working with families or couples that money can be a prime issue for marital fights or divorce, so this is something that I add to couples and premarital counseling to develop some tools to navigate unhealthy financial habits.
Additional areas of focus: Relationship issues, Family conflicts, Trauma and abuse, Sleeping disorders, Parenting issues, Career difficulties, Coping with life changes, Coaching, Compassion fatigue, Abandonment, Attachment Issues, Body Image, Commitment Issues, Communication Problems, Expats, Fertility Issues, Forgiveness, Guilt and Shame, Infidelity, Life Purpose, Money and Financial Issues, Mood Disorders, Self-Harm, Self-Love, Women's Issues, Workplace Issues
