About Me

As a therapist, I believe in providing a safe space where my clients can feel seen, heard and understood. They may be feeling overwhelmed or stuck, or the circumstances of their lives feel beyond their ability to cope. I embrace a holistic approach, including, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Mindfulness, and Solution Focused Therapy to meet my client’s needs. I believe it is important that clients have a say in their healing journey, therefore I use a collaborative approach. My areas of expertise include, depression, anxiety, trauma, loss/grief, anger, and stress. I have experience working with teens, adults and families. I enjoy being part of this process and empowering people to grow, change, heal, and thrive

Wonderful work! Very helpful and insightful, would highly recommend. On time and there for appointments, thoughtful, comes at problems from all perspectives, will change the subject easily to keep your session on track (helpful for me) understanding. I can’t wait to chat again and get professional help with some of the things I am going through.

I love having Sindy as a counsellor. This is my first time seeking help for anxiety, so I was apprehensive on what to expect. Sindy has been kind, compassionate, warm and really helpful. I look forward to our weekly chats and I really feel safe speaking to her. I feel she is honest and real with me, which I really value as it’s difficult to find a non-biased opinion. She listens without judgement and offers actionable advice that I can follow during the week. She tends to message between slots as well, which I really appreciate as it feels someone is checking in and providing an outlet in case I’m struggling. I would greatly recommend her and look forward to our progress.
