I graduated from the University of Texas Arlington and will utilize a secular or theological approach according to client request and preference. I am married and we share a blended family with three children and three grandchildren. We enjoy having fun and traveling in and outside the great state of Texas. My passions include helping people who are suffering, understand the way they interact with the world and people around them. I help you connect your thought process with your emotions and behaviors to bring change to areas you see that are not working for you personally. My clients are high-functioning, motivated, and committed to making changes in their life and I love providing them with tools and techniques so that they can reach their potential and ultimately stop coming to therapy. I know your time and money is valuable so I try to be as structured and goal-oriented as possible. The field of psychology is constantly evolving. I focus on keeping up with the latest research through reading books, articles, and training. I am proud to say I'm a lifelong learner and see the benefits in my therapy sessions. I enjoy hearing how well my clients are doing and seeing their progress in treatment. I believe in the holistic approach to becoming and remaining mentally healthy. I am certified by the Texas Medical Board as an Accudetox Specialist. Welcome! I am so glad you are here and I look forward to working together.

It’s been great working with Sophia! She listened to all my concerns and provided great grounding techniques to help me manage my anxiety.
She is fantastic!! I’ve been looking for a therapist for years. She asks you great questions that really make you reflect. She’s good at catching the little things in our conversations and giving immediate feedback, as well as prompting questions that keep me looking within. I’m so happy to have her!
The thought of starting therapy scared me a little, but I knew it’s what I needed. Sophia Dinwiddie-Donald has made this healing journey something I couldn’t have imagined. I always feel heard during our sessions and with her help I’ve really started to see a better me as the days go by.
She has challenged me in a way that is constructive and supportive. I don't need a counselor to tell me that everything I'm doing is right. She has asked penetrating questions that have made me think and make positive adjustments. I lucked out with the first therapist betterhelp paired me with. I couldn't be more pleased.
I loved her, she is amazing!!
Sophia Dinwiddie- Donald is certainly an expert in her field. She has the amazing ability to unpack years of “stuff” and guide an individual through a root causes analysis process. Sometimes, I find it difficult to package and frame my words around my experiences, thoughts, and feelings. My therapist has the capacity to ask the right questions that unlocks the vocabulary gate! She is nonjudgmental and is able to walk me out of my stuck place. For this, I am grateful.
She listens and suggests things! :D
Dr.Dinwiddie-Donald gave me a safe space to share my life and begin to heal. I am grateful for the time given to me and hope to continue therapy moving forward.
Sophia is full of wisdom and understanding. She listens and helps me see the roots of my actions and emotions.
She has helped me with my relationship with my husband and with being able to work on my bad habits and create new habits.
You can only make decisions for one person- yourself. Sophia is passionate about equipping me to make better decisions and live a more fulfilling life.
She is very professional.
