Therapy tends to be considered when a person is experiencing difficulties or problems that have a significant effect on a persons everyday life and where other approaches have been tried without success.
I have been able to develop my own integrative model of what I believe it is to be a human being and why we may come to need therapy. My model is both developmental and relational and uses Gestalt theory and attachment. Through using this model with clients in a range of ways, I believe it can be effective in giving people the resources and pathways for living a more fulfilling life and relationships whilst offering a safe, non judgemental confidential space.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Sophie Bellamy. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
At the time of being asked to write this review by better help I am only a few weeks in to my therapy with Sophie and will definitely write another review further down the line.
But in my initial first few weeks Sophie has been nothing but fantastic, in our video calls she takes every bit of information in even though I am someone who can really ramble on, she analyses things without bias and makes me aware of feelings and processes I’ve gone through for years that I never even noticed which greatly help me understand myself better, and we’re still so early in and are really just in the stage of getting to know me better, but after every video session I honestly feel amazing and like such a weight is off my shoulders and a lovely feeling of making progress together with hope and excitement for the future.
I journal on here a few times a week and Sophie always responds to my journal entries and through everyone of those interactions I feel I learn something new and knowing I have this support really does give me so much more confidence. She is regularly in contact with me throughout the week and has been nothing but supportive and even at this early stage I feel a new confidence of improving myself under her guidance.
So even though I’m very new to better help and haven’t known Sophie long I have already felt the benefits of her knowledge and expertise which is combined with her non judgemental supporting nature, for the first time in a long time I am excited about the future and that solely goes down to Sophie’s work.
I highly recommend her to anyone looking for qualified expert help with there mental difficulties and worries from small to large.
Sophie has helped me in so many ways.
I frequently feel during our video sessions or our conversations via messaging that my mind is being blown away by her ability to see the patterns in what I am experiencing and helping me identify how I can grow on my self acceptance and love journey, heal from my childhood trauma and build a healthy life for myself.
I said to Sophie it felt like a miracle the progress I had made and that’s because Sophie really understands me and what I personally respond to as a client. She seems to know exactly what to say and has helped me so much.
I honestly couldn’t recommend Sophie enough.
