Stacie Coduto, LCSW, LICSW
About me
Hi! My name is Stacie Coduto. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of Virginia and North Carolina and a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Alabama. I have 16 years of counseling experience and additional years of experience working as a hospice social worker. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns and specialize in the areas of anxiety, grief and loss, posttraumatic stress disorder, trauma, anger management, and general life stress due to work, school, parenting, etc. For potential military veteran or military family member clients, much my career has been spent working in the military setting. I am intimately familiar with military stressors affecting both the military member and family members and would welcome the opportunity to continue to serve military families.
I see the counseling experience as one in which we will work as a team. You are the expert on you. My role is to learn about you, what your strengths and current capabilities are, and what we need to work on together to help you through whatever hurdle you are currently experiencing. I approach situations using a strengths perspective, because I genuinely believe anyone who has sought out counseling and is willing to look at a different way to tackle life’s challenges is already demonstrating strength. I also approach situations by looking at how our thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected and identifying and addressing areas that are within your control, empowering you to make the changes necessary to accomplish your goals. Let’s get started! I look forward to our work together!

She listens and offers me advice. Not over bearing at all. I have talked about the same thing for a long time and she talks me through all my thought and feelings and I feel validated and she gives me tools to progress. I am very grateful

Stacie is a great listener, and she interprets a lot of what I'm saying without me having to fully explain it. I appreciate the feedback and the partnership in my journey.
