I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have worked in the field for over 35 years. I work primarily with adults who present with depression, anxiety, job stress, parenting stress, struggling with grief and loss. I also have experience in working with people who are dealing with the many transitions of life: marriage, divorce, retirement, aging parents and nearing end of life.
My counseling style is warm, friendly, with a bit of humor. I am client centered/focused. We will begin with where you are. Seeking help can be a difficult decision to make. You have made that first difficult step in exploring and seeking help. My training/approach is in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and psycho-dynamic. I tend to focus on teaching you skills to help you manage your symptoms, thinking process, and communication style. Your treatment plan will be individualized to meet your needs.
Change is difficult. Nobody likes change. But, if you are ready and willing to do the work, I am willing to be your guide and help you during this process. I look forward to working with you.

Stacy is one of the most empathetic, understanding and kind therapists I have ever had. I have been working with her for about 2 years and she has been patient and offers advice and help when necessary. She is professional and supportive. Anyone who has Stacy as a therapist is blessed.

Stacy is kind, caring and easy to talk to. I was very nervous with what to expect since this is my first time in therapy. Stacy is wonderful, she has talked me through the hardest time I've had to undergo in a long time. She listens, provides constructive recommendations and options, and is very quick to respond. Coincidentally, we can relate in many ways in our life experiences.

Always good at keeping things light hearted and is not too serious unless the situation/topic calls for it. Haven’t had any issues or complaints with her other than bad internet connection problems

I've been talking with Stacy for a while now about a lot of different issues. She is extremely helpful. At times I feel like I'm talking her ear off, but she just nods and explains everything to me in a way that I can understand. When she speaks there is a very genuine feel to her like she truly cares about what is going on. She remembers small things that I've told her that even I forget about so I know she pays attention to the things I am saying and is attentive to my wants and needs.

Stacy has been great. She's very relatable and realistic while remaining supportive. I'm a counselor myself so it's easy to pick up on when someone is being genuine vs being polite. Stacy works with people to help THEM make a good choice, versus instructing them. She just has a good way of putting things into perspective so you can make sense of it. My area of need is work stress and self-care for which Stacy has helped me figure out what that means to me but more importantly to give myself permission to treat myself as valuable.

Flexible. Kind and knowledgeable. Let's you talk and goes with the flow. Shes very nice but doesn't sugar coat and placage. Feels like a genuine person who cares

I have not worked with Stacy for long, but in the time I have I find her to be personable, comforting, and kind. I feel at ease speaking with her, and she provides not only chat support but also gives me tools to use in my day to day life and exercises to work on to improve various parts of myself and life.
