Thank you for taking the first step toward your healing journey! My name is Stacy Hixon, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I am only licensed to counsel current residents of Texas. I hold a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Letourneau University. I am passionate about mental health for individuals, and the preservation of marriage and family cohesion. I have personal experience, and enjoy working in areas of anxiety, depression, post traumatic stress disorder, communication, conflict resolution, coping skills, setting boundaries and finding balance in one’s life.
From the age of 11 years old, at my first visit to my own counselor, I have felt a calling to counsel, educate, and advocate in the field of mental health. My goal is to create a therapeutic alliance with my client(s) for your unique needs. I join empathy, understanding, and a willingness to collaborate with all clients toward a positive and successful outcome. I enjoy walking along side my client(s) on their unique path to assist in offering guidance and skills along the way. I offer nonjudgmental support and encourage you to feel empowered to make changes in your life for wellness and better mental health. I have worked collaboratively with many clients toward a successful end goal.
My personal experience as the wife of a law enforcement officer and Navy veteran, a mother, stepmother, and child of divorce allows me a personal insight when working with law enforcement officers, their families, military families, blended families, contentious divorce situations, co-parenting, and stalking.
I look forward to our journey together!

Stacy holds a non-judgmental and open minded space where I feel safe to express myself. She offers perspective and reframing of limiting beliefs that have genuinely helped me see myself and my life in a new way. She brings her own life experience into her counseling, which feels so relatable and relieving. What I most appreciate about Stacy is that she is very at home in herself, which gives me permission to be more relaxed and comfortable as myself. She meets you where you are and gives gentle guidance towards where you want to go.
Stacy has been an absolutely blessing. She hears me, understands me, then supports me in ways that will be effective for me. She is always responsive and adaptable to what I need.
