About me

Welcome! I'm Stacy, a duel licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Clinical Mental Health Supervisor. I've been working with individuals and families for almost 15 years. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from California State University San Bernardino in 1997, and a Masters of Arts in counseling from Webster University in 2005. Helping families keep it together is my passion, but I am also experienced working one-on-one with individuals deal with clinical issues such as depression, anxiety, relationships, fertility, life transitions, parenting, self-esteem, relaxation techniques, and diversity-inclusion types issues. When it comes to providing support, I know that the relationship you build with your counselor means a lot. I promise to offer you a warn environment that will lead to personal growth is the shortest amount of sessions necessary. I will help you find the solutions you are searching for and put them into practice.

One of my passions is working with military families and veterans. I have honed my skills working with the military connected population while I PCSed around the country as part of my own military family. Not only have I served via the Air Force in some capacity (Active Duty, Air National Guard, Reserves) since being commissioned in 1997, but I have been blessed to live the life of a military spouse and now a retired spouse. I've witnessed the struggles of many of my military friends who have denied themselves the help they need due to their drive to “get the job done" and I am a believer that taking charge of your mental health early can make all the difference in the ability to feel present and content with life.

A little more about me, I spend my free time being a “soccer mom” shuttling my eight year old twins around town to their events. I loves animals and has two cats, a dog, and a bearded dragon. Travel is definitely an additional love, and with the help off the Air Force (as a C-130 Navigator) I've been to over 50 countries, though in some of them I never set foot off the flight line. The kids make it a little more difficult to travel, but I hope to someday get to Kathmandu, Nepal and get a glimpse of Mount Everest.

BetterHelp is an excellent platform to provide my services in a flexible way to many more people than I can reach through traditional practice. I love the idea of clients matching with therapists and having access to professional therapy without the restrictions and wait times of an office visit. I am available Monday-Friday and check my messages daily. I try to reply as soon as possible, but always within 24 hours. Please check my schedule for more details. I look forward to meeting you.

There are truly no amount of words that can express my gratitude in finding Stacy. When I started therapy, my anxiety was at an all time high. Within a couple of sessions and conversations, it was like she had me figured out. Even better, it was like she had known me a long time. I felt confident in her ability to provide the most excellent care. She is truly amazing and I've really come a long way with her guidance and care.

Stacy is one of the best therapists I’ve met in 20 years. She’s kind, generous, open and her ability to drop in with you to diagnose and help where you’re struggling in this pandemic is incredible. She’s expert in so many types of therapy and I’m profoundly grateful to have found her through Better Help!

Stacy has made it to where I look forward to our meetings. She not only listens but encourages you to think outside of your emotions. She makes it easy to communicate through different mediums, as well as encourages you to reach out. Stacy also makes it to where she works with your schedule which is very helpful in this day and age. I look forward to see how much more growth I can accomplish with Stacy as my counselor.
