I have been specializing in treating individuals with Major Depressive Disorder and various Anxiety Disorders (Panic Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety, Social Anxiety Disorder, etc) using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other evidence based treatments to help promote lifestyle and behavior changes for over fourteen years. My experience includes working in inpatient mental health settings in addition to outpatient settings working with individuals with mental health and substance abuse concerns. I have worked with children, adolescents and adults to improve their mood and help individuals learn the tools to help them change their life for the better.
My goal is to help you feel supported and comfortable to address the issues that are important to you. You will find my personality warm, down-to earth and engaging. We will collaboratively work together to create goals that will address your needs and to develop a treatment plan that you will have input in to make sure all of your concerns will be addressed and that you are working on goals that are important to you. Our sessions will be educational, engaging and interactive and there may be activities to complete in between the next time we meet to reinforce what you learned in session. The therapy will challenge you to examine difficult situations you are experiencing in a different light and to work on exposing yourself to situations that may make you feel anxious. The work isn't easy but it is absolutely rewarding to see progress in the areas of your life that you want to improve. Consistency is key when it comes to sessions and working on goals to help reduce the symptoms you are feeling. With consistent sessions, treatment is usually short-term so you can develop the tools that you will need so you can become your own therapist!

She's great! I have come a long way since working with her, I took a little over a year off and then decided to come back. I knew if i was going back to therapy I preferred to work with her!
I’ve only had a few sessions with Stefanie so far but she has already been incredibly helpful with finding the causes of my anxiety and offering a variety of ways to help when I feel like I start to “spiral.” I’ve also written to her on the app between sessions and she has responded quickly and gives very thorough responses that show me she really read everything I wrote. I really appreciate the level of care she’s shown me.
