So far I have only done one session but the follow up after is what I appreciate. Stella checks in and sends things to focus and journal on to help continue therapy outside of the session.

Stella Breytman is an excellent listener and a detailed respondent. She doesn't over-prescribe advice, but she is full of insights that kept our work together moving in a very good direction. Stella gets my heartiest endorsement.

Stella has been super nice and is always checking in on me. She focuses on the details and knows the right questions and also open to learning about parts of your culture, and life that is also affecting you. I appreciate that she asked questions to know more so in return she can better help you.

While Stella does have stricter guidelines for how she prefers to communicate with clients, it is to ensure she is wholely invested in patients she takes on.

I have quite a few issues to tackle and it feels like a lot but Stella always manages to see what’s bothering me the most, focus on it and also help the other issues that seem to hide in the background. She’s like a friend you can vent to that gives great and logical advice.

Stella has been a blessing to my life. As I have only been talking with her for a brief time she always brings a point of view to what’s going on that is helpful to hear. When I am faced with a challenge, she always finds something helpful to share with me, for example, “how I can be more mindful”.
Stella is quick to respond and is very clear of her available and unavailable times. If she hasn’t heard from me in a little while she will send me a check in message. I am so thankful that she has come into my life.

Stella has allowed me space to express my feelings and thoughts, without judgement. She has taken the time to listen to me and my struggles, and finds different ways to help me cope and grow. She offers not only her own advice and prompts, but also provides resources to help me further. Stella is very kind and compassionate, and has already helped me find the path to a better and healthier me! I appreciate Stella and all her hard work to help me and others like me.

I started working with Stella recently and it has truly made a world of difference in my life. She is patient with me and understands not only what I need help with but also how to best help me. She has given me the tools I've asked for and has tailored my self-help journey to my specific needs. She has given me the space I need to process things and has guided my understanding in a productive way.
I had written off counseling for a long time but I can say that I am so very grateful for making the decision to get help. BetterHelp assigned me a counselor the day after I signed up and filled out the brief intake about my counseling preferences. They allow your counselor to meet you where you are. I opted for messaging rather than phone calls or meetings because my schedule is a little hectic and because I didn't want to have a set meeting time. I like the flexibility I have with Stella. She responds quickly and exactly the way I need her to (she responds directly to what I say and will ask questions that challenge me to process through what I'm going through). She also sends me tools that I need without me asking for them (I had told her early on what I wanted to work on and generally how I wanted to get to where I wanted to be and she tailored the resources she gave me to my requests).
I would recommend BetterHelp and Stella to anyone. The service makes it easy to get help and Stella is a great counselor. I can tell she truly wants to help me and that has made a huge, positive difference in my life.
