About me
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. My desire is to give compassionate and supportive care to individuals struggling with issues that hinder their ability to achieve wholeness and experience what it means to thrive. One of my strengths is a genuine gift for connecting with people to develop trust and rapport.
I earned my masters in Marriage and Family Therapy, and completed a double major in my undergraduate studies in business and counseling. Besides my education and training my life experience includes 32 years of marriage and raising 4 amazing children. I am licensed in the states of Nevada, Virginia, and North Carolina.
My holistic approach incorporates multiple modalities to include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy, Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and mindfulness techniques. I would consider it a privilege to collaborate with you to achieve your goals.
