Hello! My name is Stephani Beckett, and I am a licensed professional counselor in Missouri. Prior to beginning my professional counseling and school counseling career nearly 12 years ago, I was a high school teacher for 13 years. I have been married for over 34 years, I have two grown daughters, and six grandchildren.
Those who have worked with me say I am warm and caring. I am a person-centered counselor at heart; however, I also use cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) strategies, solution-focused strategies, and strength-based strategies. I have experience working with children, as well as teens and adults. I truly enjoy helping others. I have successfully helped people who have struggled with problems associated with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, self-esteem, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), grief, anger management, as well as trauma and abuse.
