About me

Are you struggling with anxiety or depression? Maybe you’re stuck in a cycle of anxious thoughts and it feels like you can’t get out? Does life feel overwhelming? Perhaps things feel out of your control, and like you can’t handle it… I believe you can get through this! I believe that even in times when you are overwhelmed, facing your struggles head on creates resilience and helps you grow into a stronger version of yourself. I want to help you break the cycle of anxiety and learn to control it instead of letting it control your life. Through identifying sources of anxiety and depression, you will learn to manage and challenge unhelpful thoughts, as well as develop specific, individualized skills to cope with your feelings. I received my undergraduate degree from Bethel University in St. Paul, MN, and my graduate degree in Counseling Psychology from Abilene Christian University. My specialties and passions include working with individuals struggling with anxiety and depression, high-functioning autism, ASD family member support, young adult issues, and eating disorders. My goal is to provide an environment in which healing and growth can occur, so you can break free from the things that have been holding you back and be excited to live life again. Let’s talk about how we can work together to achieve your goals.

When I looked into getting some counseling, I was not sure where to start. I got connected with Stephanie and she is amazing. She completely understood what I was going through and offered me obtainable goals and validated what I was feeling. After messaging her, I felt like someone was finally understanding me and actually listening to what I had to say. She responded to me in a timely manner. Highly recommend her.
