About Me

Hi there! I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of Michigan and Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Missouri, with over 9 years of experience working with people of all ages and backgrounds. I got my BSW from Oakland University and my MSW from Wayne State University. I have spent most of my career as a medical social worker in a hospital setting. I also have been a hospice volunteer. My experiences include issues relating to grief and loss, adjusting to illness, life changes, family conflict, stress and anxiety, self-esteem, and addiction. I specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy. My main goal in therapy is to help you help yourself. I will be your nonjudgmental cheerleader on your journey of overcoming personal challenges and reaching goals!

When I'm not working, I love reading, listening to music, working out, gardening, playing with animals, and watching movies and reality TV shows. I love to travel and experience new things. YOLO is my personal motto!

I applaud you for reaching out for support! I look forward to getting to know you and helping you live your best life :)

We have only talked a week but I feel confident I will be able to work through my anxiety with her. I already feel more calm and listened to.

I am so thankful to have Stephanie for a counselor! She always makes me feel heard and has a welcoming and open persona that always makes me feel comfortable coming to her with anything. She always has a bright and cheery attitude. She is nonjudgmental and creates an atmosphere of trust that makes me feel like I can share even things that embarrass me with her. I look forward to our live sessions and I always feel so great and inspired afterwards!
