Hi! I'm Stephanie, and I believe in the power of reaching out for counseling and the positive impact that counseling can have on helping you overcome hurdles. I have been a licensed counselor in Missouri for 7 years. I have worked with trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and a host of other challenges.
I tailor my approach to the needs of each individual I work with. I draw from cognitive-behavioral techniques, a trauma-centered approach, and person-centered theory, meaning I always remember the individual is at the center of the relationship. I enjoy working first to alleviate any current symptoms that are interrupting your daily living, and then, should it be appropriate, going deeper into the core of how those symptoms came to happen. I also work with you to recognize the strengths you have, so you can draw from those as you build new habits and work toward a happier and more fulfilling life.
I know it takes a lot of courage to seek out counseling! I look forward to partnering with you on your journey and nurturing your emotional and mental health!

she genuinely wants me to get better. she offers me tools to accomplish my mental health goals.
Stephanie is great. She listens to everything I say and helps me come up with coping ideas for any issue I'm having. I would definitely recommend her to a close friend of mine if they ever needed counseling. I trust that she has my best interest in mind and she truly wants to help me conquer and problems I have. I'm very thankful I found her!
Stephanie has helped me feel more confident in myself and learn new tools to cope with my emotions.
I truly didn’t think counseling was going to help me but I gave it a try. Stephanie has been GREAT! Just knowing I can message her anytime I need to makes me feel so much better. She has helped me tremendously with my anxiety & panic attack issues. I can’t thank her enough!!
